Do them when needed — don’t wait too long.

It’s always the first thing I check when I get a new horse, young or old. And honestly… many times I’m disappointed. But that’s okay — from there, it can only get better.

I like to keep things natural, also when choosing a dentist. In my experience, English and Irish horsemen are often very good in this area. But in the end, I always decide after trying someone myself — same with dentists and farriers.

Give things time. Don’t change too much at once. Work slowly.

Keep it simple. Keep it natural.
